How do you do?!
Whenever we're sure of having finally gained a certain amount of controll over our lives, something is bound to go wrong. All our plans, careful preparations and ambitions are lapsed, when confronted with the Unexpected.
Jan Puschs first work for Nordwest Tanzcompagnie deals with one of the most fundamental conflicts of existence – the conflict between intention and reality!
Equipped with established views on life, approved convictions, willingness to improvise and to use any promising trick at hand, we try to convince ourselves of being solidly prepared for things to come. When our thus lovingly constructed visions of the future are messed up by events, we like to speak of fate or destiny.
„How do you do?!” shows in an ironic, witty and turbulent way the strategies we come up with in dealing with the unpredictable.
