"Siesta" takes a look at the situation of a courting couple permanently being observed by a small group of people, varying in age and interrelation. Couple and spectators are situated in an empty, self-contained space, which nobody ever leaves, leaving one question unanswered: is it possible for anyone to leave at all?
In a disoriented society passionate love always seems to be an encouraging vehicle in the hectic search for meaning and perspective. It promises uncontrollable and overwhelming intensity and can easily be interpreted in a way that matches the spirit of the times.Where do you want to go today?
